Conversely, horizontal storage introduces extreme outward lateral forces. For an industrial wastewater treatment plant in Eswatini, Center Enamel engineered a massive 56.56-meter-diameter tank holding 21,100 cubic meters of liquid.
To safely contain this highly corrosive effluent, the tank features a multi-faceted safety design.
