Government Project, Another Municipal Sewage Treatment Project in China

Nowadays, another municipal sewage treatment project is under construction in Shantou city, Guangdong province. Center Enamel is collaborating with the local government department and supplying 14 sets of Glass-Fused-to-Steel tanks. The Shantou municipal sewage treatment project is designed to address urban river pollution. Once completed and operational, all sources of urban river pollution will be collected and treated before being discharged into the urban river. This will significantly enhance Shantou city's municipal sewage treatment capacity and improve living conditions in the city. Additionally, it will effectively treat urban sewage and prevent direct municipal discharge into the water.

Pollutants in urban rivers are mainly natural rainfall, atmospheric dust, household garbage, etc., as well as long-term accumulation of river bottom silt and harmful substances released by silt. The discharge of some sewage will cause some plankton in the water to be in a eutrophication state, which will cause serious harm to other organisms in the water. Eutrophication will cause the biological chain of the ecosystem in the river to be disrupted and seriously damage the river ecosystem.
